The Bane
The Bane By: Ms Boniza Existing is not just about being present, It's about bearing the weight of those missing pieces, The memories that haunt, the pain that remains, A lingering echo of joy that I can never regained Trauma's dark, shadow looms, a constant guest, Pain and sorrow's heavy chains, forever pressed, Grief's relentless tide, ebbs and flows, A heart once whole, now shattered, like a broken glass of fragments In my very existence, I search for a way, Yet I did not pave the way, To heal the wounds, to face a new day, To find solace in the darkness, To learn to breathe again, through the endless night. I now do not hold on to hope's frail thread, For letting go is my only choice of my resolve, For existing is not just about being present, it is about feeling all the misfortunes for what is happiness without misery.
