The Ball
Bouncing around in my head, thoughts collided, ricocheting like rubber, endless motion, no direction. Rolling through every scenario, the weight of what if curved my outlook, shaping fear where hope once stood. Spinning with doubt, I lost track of center, no grip, no stillness, just motion. Inflated by worry, each thought stretched thin, ready to pop with the slightest pressure. Hollow thoughts without reason loomed deep. Made me curl up into a ball and sleep.
