THE BAD GUY
In a world where guilt resides, People paint a darkened guise, They pretend you're bad, they feign, To ease the burden of their pain. Their actions, harsh and unkind, They seek solace in a twisted mind, By casting shadows upon your name, They absolve themselves of any blame. But fear not, for their judgment's flawed, Their perception skewed, their vision clawed, For you are not defined by their deceit, Your true worth shines, it cannot be beat. Embrace the truth within your core, Let their falsehoods slide, ignore, For in their attempts to justify, They only reveal their own dark sky. Remember, dear one, you're not defined, By the judgments of a narrow mind, Your strength and goodness will prevail, As their illusions crumble, they'll surely pale. So hold your head up high, my friend, In the face of their pretend, For you are strong, and you are kind, And their guilt will never bind.
