The Art Of Distraction
Distraction will fix. Distraction will glue the broken pieces and make it look nice; better. The time is 2:49. The only light on is in the kitchen where the music plays soft and sad and I quietly dance. It's strangely soothing (Pointe your toes, straighten your legs, stay quiet.) It's a Sunday afternoon. The only thing I've had is water so open the bag of candy and eat while I catch up online. It's strangely relaxing (Eat right then left, don't eat too much, go to the toilet later and use the toothbrush this time.) I'm halfway through the appointment. I trust my therapist with everything she only wants to help and I want to get better. It feels good to tell her everything (Don't over share, you're being dramatic, you're just faking all this, aren't you.) Distraction will fix this. It will make everything easier for everyone. I just have to turn up the music, write my final poem, and grab the knife. (not a suicide note, I'm alive gang I swear)
