The arrival of death
Death is coming, a silent, inevitable guest, A shadow creeping closer with every breath, No mercy nor pity in its unyielding quest, To claim us all, in the end, to meet our death. It cares not for riches, nor power, nor fame, A great equalizer, we will all be the same. In the darkness, it waits, a patient predator, No escape, no bargaining, no hope for a savior. So let us live our lives with purpose and intent, Embrace the fleeting moments, before we are bent. For in the end, we are but shadows in the night, Facing death with courage, our final, solemn fight. MTF
