The Ant is Terrified of You
The ant is terrified of you, I ignore the dragonfly, An ugly wench in the forest Dismisses you like shattered glass, The runnel guffaws raucous when we pass, The gusty air in joyful activity. Wherefore thine eye my golden fog, Wherefore? Nay winters night... The ant is trembling because of you, The dragonfly goes by, A youthful maiden in the trees curtsies daintily, The stream chortles voluminous as we go, Meek is the bluster of the saddening snow, Wherefore thine lips, my auric cloud. Wherefore art the poets proud.
