The Alluring Forbidden Fruits

As I sip my cup of tea, I can't help but think of all the beauty we see, From the mountain tops to the deep sea, God was pleased with all He sees, He commanded all of thee, To eat the fruits of every tree, Except the fruits of the forbidden tree. But how quick we are to break the decree, No, not just Adam and Eve but all of thee, Sinning is but eating from the forbidden tree He commanded all of thee, To eat the fruits of every tree, Except the fruits of the forbidden tree. But out of His mercy God sent He, Whose blood was shed for you and me, So that from our sins we can be set free, And live with Him for all eternity, He commanded all of thee, To eat the fruits of every tree, Except the fruits of the forbidden tree.
