The Alchemist of Loss🙁
The Clockmaker sits in a tower of glass, Watching the phantoms of "Used-To-Be" pass. There is Elara, who traded her gold, For a handful of stories that couldn't be told. She thought she was cheated, she thought she was small, Until The Architect came to the wall. He didn't bring bricks, and he didn't bring lime, He brought her the "Hardships of Yesterday’s Time." "Mix them," he told her, "with tears and with grit, The world is a puzzle, and this is how you fit." The Weaver arrived with a thread made of thorns, To sew up the spirit that’s weathered and worn. It hurts when the needle goes under the skin, But that’s how the wisdom of ages gets in. You cannot know sunlight without the deep gray, You cannot find "Home" if you don’t lose your way. So thank the Destroyer who broke down your door, For showing you floors you hadn't walked on before. The world isn't cruel; it’s just trying to teach, The heights that a heart, through its breaking, can reach.
