The Aching Soul
Teary eyes cradle my aching soul Lost in despair— Torn and alone In a quiet dark room, like a void With only hollow sounds Where even the wind mourns And my heart burns, the one Which was once Seen Now forgotten amidst the silence Desperately longing to be Acknowledged Utterly yearning for comfort Hopelessly aching to be loved To be unnoticed is to become invisible My soul, delicate as a dove Yet so melancholy trapped With broken wings— gloomy and weary With nothing but a fiery ache consuming me, compelling me to surrender to the agony In the end, is a soul left Inevitably in Misery ~ The invisible girl
