The Abyss of Despair
I stare into the abyss of despair Where darkness reigns and hope is rare I feel the weight of my sins and regrets Crushing my soul and drowning my breath I try to reach for a ray of light But all I find is endless night I cry for mercy, I beg for grace But no one hears me in this place I wonder how I came to be here What choices led me to this fear I wish I could undo the past And make things right at last But I know it’s too late for me There’s no escape from this misery I’m trapped in the abyss of despair Where nothing matters and no one cares
