The absence of a Mother
Why do I still love you? Why would I when my father hates my face because she sees you? Why would I when we've never spoken? Why would I when I don't know you? Why would I when you don't know me? Or my favorite color? Or my favorite doll? Or what I look like? Why would I bother to love you when you've never cared? Maybe because you taught me to let go. Maybe because you taught me to move on. Maybe you're the reason why. Why it's so easy for me to leave. Why it's so easy for me to shield myself from hurt. Why i expect people to hurt me. Why i'm rarely disheartened. I still love you, Because I know you are apart of me, but I can't accept you as a mother that takes good care of us, don't expect that we will still love you, cause you have never been a mother to us, it's just a name that we call you but in reality you never cared about us.
