That one message ended me
Suddenly, the world stopped; my breathing shorter, palms sweatier, eyelids heavy. The familiar name lit up my screen, fears and heavy thoughts surrounding me. "what is it this time?" and a million other questions surging in. Only for me to find out, it's the anger that made you reach out. The cold, sharp, indifferent tone, one that I never wanted to hear again. I was doing so well, not wanting to do anything with you; and yet one simple line made everything I worked on fall the quickest. It may have been easy for you pressing send and not even thinking whatever I've been through, but god did you tear me apart so well. That one message ended me.
