That little girl.
That little girl. Oh, how I want to make her proud because she’s an important part. Look at her now—she sees, but it’s too different, so she cries. Look at her now—but she’s too far away. I didn’t even think. If I told her where she’d go, she wouldn’t commit. It would ruin her to see it all. Still, she’s there, watching, learning, even when everything feels too much. But look at her now— far from different, yet somehow the same.
