That Day

I think about that day and how happy I'd be to finally breathe free and be happy for ME Because I'm fulfilling by dream of uniting my life With the one man that from the start dreamed of calling me his wife That day will be sunny and joyous for us But the great weather will at that point will only be a plus Nothing, nor rain, nor wind nor hail Can take away the feeling of love, which can only prevail Because it is true care, true connection, and true love The thing that lead us to pray to the one above To bless this union that one day began With a glance, only that, not some greater plan But blessed it was, as we stand there that day With the love in our eyes, soul and mind on full display To utter the most sacred of vows Together holding hands, as God has allowed From that day forward we become one And finally unite what a simple "hii" one day begun You will be my husband and I will be your wife And holding hands, on that very day, will be the beginning of our amazing life That day....That day.... will one day come
