That Bird
That bird, awakened by the very first ray of sunlight, Unaware of which way to fly, Just following the light, With doubt and restlessness stirring her heart. A little doubt of her return from the journey, Yet she rises, flying higher into the sky, Unknowing of where her search will end, Striving hard through every storm she meets. Through thunders, through silence, through all hardships, She may have lost much along the way, Feathers of comfort, nests of certainty- All scattered in the winds of her quest. But in losing, she found something deeper, A courage she never knew she had, A strength born not from knowing the path, But from daring to chase it anyway. And though the destination remains unknown, Her wings now carry more than hope, They carry belief, unshaken and bright, Guiding her beyond fear, into her own torch.
