Thank you to the rain
Thank you to the rain For being there to mirror my sadness. When I've had s bad day, or things don't go quite my way. The tears I wish I can shed but too afraid to let out. And whenever the rain comes, I fall asleep to the music it brings. The sound of a thousand raindrops all at once like a melodic choir. Caressing my ears with its gentle soothing voice. Like a mother singing a lullaby to her child. The rain is my mother. And fall asleep in it's warm embrace. To the comfort it brings me and say, "You'll be okay." With its warm quiet voice.
