test the kid out

A deep gravely voice spoke from the dark in the back of the room  When he spoke you got a shock as his voice boomed  He said, we will start him on an ounce just to see how he will do  Test and see if he is sensible or will he go and act the fool   I will give him the chance how he goes about it he gets to choose  Either way i get my money, so really i cant lose  And if he does well...well we will bounce him up to two  And if he gets a taste for it and decides this is the life he wants to pursue  We will keep bumping up the weight till hes a top earner  a valued member of the crew  This was the beginning of the end, if only the young lad knew
