Test for the righteous
A test from the heavens, only the righteous receive, In nights of silence, in hours they grieve. Not for the ease, nor the worldly gain, But a path through storms, a road of pain. When hearts are weighed by a sorrow's yoke, And the light of hope seems all but broke, They cry in the stillness, "Oh Allah, why?" Yet know deep down, it’s a call from the sky. For trials befall the ones He holds dear, To cleanse their hearts, to make faith clear. What’s silver without fire, gold without heat? A soul untested, still incomplete. Through tears and thorns, they tread with trust, In the promise of One eternally just. Their hands are worn, their faces pale, Yet in this trial, they shall not fail. With each hardship, their ranks rise high, For those whom He loves, He will purify. They bear the weight with patient grace, Finding His mercy in the hardest place. O Allah, make firm the feet of those who yearn, To be drawn to You, with each twist and turn.
