Terrified Tails
Bonfire night, a fiery show, Where sparks and smoke begin to glow. A celebration, a night of glee, But for our creatures, misery. The sky ablaze, a dazzling sight, But for the animals, a fearful fright. The booming bangs, the piercing cries, Fill them with dread, and make them shy. The once-calm streets, now filled with fear, As pets and wildlife disappear. Their hearts race fast, their senses strain, As chaos reigns and terror gains. So let us pause, this night of light, And think of those who take flight. Let's find a way to celebrate, Without causing such a dreadful fate. ©️ DLC 2024
