tension
I dreamed about your lips just a breath from mine, hesitating, you leaning over my sleeping body as my vision barely was conscious. And as I tried to lean in, as habit dictates, up to you, you sighed onto me, your breath warm and heavy on my mouth. As you leaned over and I woke up, you murmured to me that I nearly kissed you, but you knew better. It was unhealthy, you said, what we had, and even if it felt so natural now, it wasn't worth it. I was the one craving for you, and you the one who knew better. But how could I have nearly kissed you, if it wasn't that you were right there, waiting for me to try?
