Tender Purple
The sea that stretches farther than the eyes could see The rustling of sand against sand against our bare feet Your smile, her laughter, and mine Kept by the ever blue skies as memories The sound of the waves The calm under the gentle moon White moon, grey moon, blue moon And purple you Our shadow stretches far, Then short The sun revolves, the moon follows Our sweat returns to mist And our tears, to treasures As smiles soon turns into frowns And frowns to memories Fleeting, it was, yet endearing Melodies that only we could make You, the tender purple Her, the golden shines And me Hatred, love, whatever Laughter, cries, whatever Even if you forgot Even if it’s fleeting The sky is watching us The moon, the ever gentle moon will forgive us The cloud, the stars The sea, and the world beyond The waves, and the soothing foam And the sand, that caught our footprints So let’s make them Memories To remember, to forget And to make all over again Be the tender purple that caught my circle And the circle that caught my everything
