Teen girl.
My feelings are like glass. And you broke that glass. I tried picking up those pieces. I really did. Tried fixing what couldn't Be fixed. And you. You knew that every comment. Every giggle. Every joke.Cut me. And you kept cutting me until I shut down. Until I Gave up and drowned. Drowned in the tears of my insecurities. drowned in the feeling of loneliness. The glass would float the top and cut me. Adding more cuts the the already scarred heart. The tears would drain of course. But that glass. Those scars. Those unhealed wounds? They never left. every time I would drown, the glass would always remain at the bottom. I thought that if I hid the insecurities, the glass, the scars. that they would go away. so I pushed them to the very back of my mind. but you. you would always find them. and you would make your stuipid comments. I ignore your senseless comments and jokes. and the glass by the way? the insecurities, the scars. the scars I said what NEVER heal? I'm starting to think that they are finally healed. not forgotten. not hidden. but healed.
