Tears Of Taubah
In slumber, my heart beats fast, A cadence that echoes through the past, My eyes, shy to meet the gaze, As if the world could see my inner ways. My heart pounds, remembering the Day, When Allah will raise me, come what may, My limbs will testify to all I've done, I feel the weight of shame, the fear of being undone. The flames of Jahannam, they seem so near, My breath comes heavy, my soul does fear, But then I wake, and it's just a dream, A warning, a reminder to seek Allah's scheme. With heart aflame, I pray through the night, Reciting Quran, seeking Allah's light, The weight of sin, it bears me down, But tears of remorse, they help to drown. The breeze of dawn, it brings me peace, My heart, once heavy, now releases, The pain of sin, it starts to fade, As Allah's mercy, it is displayed. I wake, feeling washed, feeling new, My heart, once burdened, now feels light and true, The forgiveness of Allah, it is mine, A gift, a treasure, forever divine.
