She was never ours,a truth I've come to know... A realisation that left my heart feeling low.Her role in my life q vital one,Indeed But like a fleeting dreams,she vanished in time speed. I was young,not physically but mentally unable to grasp the complexity of life behind Her departure left a void,a chasm deep and wide A wound that's taken years to heal,yet still I hide. Now,as I've grown both physically and mentally,I feel the absence,a heart that's lost it's goal I miss her voice,a sound that's fading as time goes on A memory that's sliping away, like grains of sand in the past. But yet am greatful for the time we shared,for the love we dared Some kids never got that chance,a painful truth to abide.
