“Tears and Warmth”
In the midst of a campfire’s glow, Surrounded by strangers, tears flow. The night sky, a blanket of stars, Whispers of sorrow carried from afar. I held my emotions, a silent plea, Until her warmth wrapped around me. Her hug, a sanctuary in the night, Where my tears found solace, a gentle light. Her embrace, like a soft, woolen blanket, Shielding me from the world’s harsh racket. I begged her not to let me go, In her arms, I found a place to grow. Days passed, the camp came to an end, She held my hand, but I couldn’t bend. I left without knowing her name, Yet destiny played its fateful game. We met again, as if by chance, Her hug, a comforting dance. I cried in her embrace, an hour or more, In her arms, I found what I was looking for. Her hug, a promise, a silent vow, That she’d be there, then and now. In her warmth, I found my way, A beacon of hope, come what may.
