Tear to Trust
You took me from my mother, in promise of family love Instead, you beat me and built fear from above I ran away, my four legs could not stay Humans, they hurt me, and now I'm put away I cower in the corner, too afraid to face The memories of pain, the scars that won't erase I lost my trust, my heart beats with fear A life of love and joy, now nothing but tears But then one day, a sweet angel saved my day She took her time, with hands so sweet and gentle way She spoke soft words, and moved with patient pace And slowly, I began to trust, to see a different face She showed me kindness, and love that's true And helped me heal, from the wounds I went through She earned my trust, and I began to play A new life unfolded, in a brighter way By Ram
