Tea leaves and shadows
In the quiet hour before the dawn, I pour my tea and let the world move on. The leaves swirl softly, a gentle dance, A moment of comfort, a fleeting chance. Steam rises lightly, hopes drift in the air, Each sip brings warmth, a moment to share. But shadows linger, filling me with care, In the stillness, I search for something rare. The golden liquid, both sweet and warm, Soothes my heart and helps me weather the storm. Though dark thoughts hover, I know I am strong, With each little sip, I can carry on. I think of the leaves, how they bend and sway, How they face the storms and greet the day. A lesson in life, through struggle we grow, Even in sadness, there’s light in the flow. With every warm cup, I feel hope renew, In the gentle warmth, I find strength to pursue. Though shadows may whisper and cloud my view, In the dance of the tea leaves, I’ll embrace what is true. So I sit with my thoughts in this peaceful hour, As the world wakes up, and I gather my power. Tea leaves and shadows, both tender and bright, In this moment of stillness, I’ll find my own light.
