Tattered love
Waking up to screams and shots, Last night's fight resuming now You say you love me through clenched teeth I know its true but right now you're angry at me I don't know how we got like this Postponing the plans we made for two In one house we live but I rarely speak to you This tattered love is beginning to hurt You hold me at night in bed In your sleep you call someone else's name I always have to play pretend 'I don't hear all you Saying' And did the love fade? Then what are we trying to mend? Why are we still acting okay When the truth is we're breaking from within You hate everything I do I can't stand being in a room with you Are we afraid to let it show That what once bloomed is now doomed How we smiled and blushed and loved All gone now like it was flushed And we left standing here Not knowing how we even.got here When will we ever see The holes that fill this ship Are making it to sink And that we need to leave
