tangible pain
It hurts me not to have a visible wound, a scar, or a cut to express the pain I feel. Or a blade stained with my blood, causing my pain, accusing me of my sorrows; something that's visual, that people can perceive, so as not to be treated like a crazy person, an exaggerator who invents a supposed torture. A torture that destroys me day after day, adding to it the criticism and false words directed at me for what I feel, what I'm condemned to feel. I need a truth written on my skin so no one doubts what I'm suffering. Even so, no one would take it seriously. I'd feel even more exposed.
