Take me, O fate
I am messing up everything completely because life has misused me, made me feel useless, and stripped me of my essence. I sought after happiness, but all I got was this. There is nothing left in my soul to redeem. I have suffered enough; now it is your time, Fate. Take me out of this life. I can't worry about the afterlife anymore, for the life I am living in this world is nothing compared to what is yet to come. The universe I am in is worse than any universe that has been or what is yet to come. Fate, I know you are a specter in tune with the outer universe. You must know there is no universe worse than this one I inhabit. It has been difficult, if not impossible, to hold my sanity for all these years I have suffered. Take me, O Fate, for the world's perception of me is clouded by what is outside. They don't judge by how creative I am, or how productive; they judge by what I am in front of their eyes. The cemeteries are full of the living, while many of the dead wander loitering on the ground. Take me to where I belong, O Fate, six feet under the earth. Take me, but take me with my pen, for it is the only thing that kept me company and poured my tears when everyone walked away from my
