Swans of Love
When the shroud of slumber comes to me, Pray thee hold me til the last, Look through my eyes with love not fear, And recount the moments passed. Each second held is soft and pure, No pain could ever overcome, The wordless love your eyes ensure, As our beings melt to one. Lay with me, endure the dark and recount that final breath; For the journey I shall soon embark, your love is all that's left. Whispered on my fading lips, a bittersweet goodbye; For time will soon re-beat my heart, when I meet you in the sky. Forever yours,
