Surrender
Just like I predicted I couldn't save you from your thoughts. Convinced you many times, held onto nothing but all the hope you had has faded and we've lost. It's like I can just watch you grieve for the mistakes you never did. Like I'm the only one to safe you, but you're scared to take my hand. It's either I pull you up, or we both end up on the ground. You're forcing me to surrender, still I wait for your call. Your words gave me warmth I craved for all along. Foolish of you to think I'd ever move on. I miss the walks, the cigs, our naps and how you held me in your arms. Can't even lie if I told you I've never felt better before. Went to yours only once now I can't call my home a home. hey, how about you come back? got no where else to be at My purpose is to help you, can't you just let me be that? What if I came to help and show you how to be loved? You want to do it yourself but never wanted to start.
