SUNSHINE BUT A FAKE ONE
Her smile was like a ray of light, But little did they know it wasn't right. For behind that grin, there lay a pain, A sadness that she tried to feign. She painted on a mask each day, And hoped that nobody saw it slip away. She laughed and joked with all her might, But inside, she was dying in the night. The world never knew what she was going through, And how much she wanted to start anew. She couldn't take the burden anymore, And one day, she walked out the door. No more fake smiles, no more tears, She found peace after all these years. But those who knew her still feel the pain, Of a life cut short by her constant strain. So let this be a lesson to all, To reach out and help those who fall. For behind every fake smile, there's a story to tell, And sometimes, it doesn't end too well. ☆~"A fake smile can hide a million tears." - Unknown
