SUNSET
I stand looking westwards, watching as the sun goes down, befuddled by the splendor in show the golden hue that the setting sun casts on the canopy of trees and the ghost-like facade painted on the hills and valleys I call home I feel sad seeing the sun set for with it sets light, I'm left blinded to grope in the dark, waiting for dawn I yearn to stretch my hand to wave to bid adios to the beacon of hope to wish it safe travels as it moves to brighten the life of another as mine is left in the shadows but again I'm happy for even though it lasted a s it left me with warmth, and hope but for now, all we have to do is bask in the glory of sunset
