Sunset
Although it's just platonically, I'll love you each day till sun sets Even if there comes a day with no sunset, I'll not love you any less Do you ever see a sunset, and just have to sit and watch it go It slowly goes down with oranges, purples and pinks mixing low You sit and watch a sunset, and watch the colours blend Then see the sky darken, and the top of the moons bend But the fun's never over then, you can always go stargazing It's so much more fun than watching the sun - time wasting I'd love to stargaze with you, and stay awake all night till dawn And waken with the soft glow of a sunrise as you stretch and yawn Then spend the whole day together not a second without the other Then watch the sunset and promise you'll never watch it with another
