Summer
And I'll remember how we spent the summer beneath the trees the sun filtering softly through the leaves, a dappled dance of light and shadow, the air filled with laughter, our voices weaving stories in the gentle breeze. We laid on soft grass, our fingers tracing the clouds, imagining worlds beyond the blue, as time stretched like the shadows around us, lazy and free, each moment a treasure stored in the heart. The scent of earth, warmed by the sun, mingled with wildflowers, while whispers of nature played like a symphony in the background— the rustle of leaves, the call of distant birds, traces of magic hiding in every sound. We carved our names into the bark of an old oak, a promise rooted deep, as the cicadas sang their nightly hymn, and fireflies danced like scattered stars. Every secret shared, wrapped in the warmth of twilight, etched forever in the fabric of our days. And when the sun set on our laughter, and the world quieted down, I’ll hold those moments close, like the comfort of a well-loved book, pages worn yet alive, whispering summer tales beneath the stars.
