Suicide's Unrequited Lover
I said it before, I can't do this anymore "I'm leaving, I'm done" Left the words hanging, like a challenge to ignore Millions of crumbled pages, blank and unspoken by the bed Billions of words in my head, broken and unsaid Still breathing, after meds in my veins Heavy dosage, all gone, in vain Billions of people, but none to talk to The only escape, a hopeless pursue. They said they'd love me, they said they'd stay I believed them again, world spun in gray But trust is expensive, I can't afford to pay. I tried, I'm tired, still breathing I'll say it till it's the last time, I'm leaving. I'll wait for the last time I'll watch the wind chime Heart aching, I feel trippy, getting dizzy in time Maybe I'll just take my leave, and fade away Into the silence, where the pain will stay. Wanting to dance with the grim reaper Is all that now makes me a dreamer.
