Suicide Attempts
Tried to jump off a skyrise balcony when I was 16, my parents stopped me as I was making a scene. When I was 18 I tried to jump in front of a moving bus, the local cop pulled me back and told me to get lost. At 24 as my world came to a halt, I tried to jump from the top floor of a parking lot. 26 years old wasn't any different, I was locked in a pysch ward from trying to jump from a hospital window. 29 was the latest attempt, I tried to jump from a 3000 foot bridge, a woman stopped me from making my exit. All these suicide attempts, and I'm still here, standing tall, and waiting for the next thought. This time I asked for help, before it happens, all eyes on me as if they are waiting for me fall. I live in a city known for its evergreens, and rainy days. The Emerald City keeps me wanting to stay alive, but always there for my next attempt.
