Suffrage
20 years of my lifetime spent in suffrage and pain Peppered occasionally with delights and joy Time spent idly wondering and questioning in rain While feeling used and abandoned like a toy Yet now the clouds have softly drifted open revealing sun Breath as warm as summers breeze brushes My face I do not belive the pain has left fully nor the past undone Yet I do feel that for once a gift has been given upon my grace How will my future unravel and invoke a new day I haven't a thought about the predictions of life However I promise the words from my lips of love I say Are true and dearest with honesty for you and for you no strife I promise my life, my death, and my blood To sacrifice everything for my dearest love with none of my tears to flood
