suffocation
i feel my thoughts prick prick pricking at the back of my head like a cats claw in the couch. i notice my breath hitch hitch hitching as my lungs beg for air from a brain who can't hear their pleas over the sound of my heart pound pound pounding louder and louder until the sound drowns out the thoughts that are pick pick picking at the corpse of my self worth like seagulls hungry for the leftover trash in the parking lot of a wal-mart. my tears are run run running down my face till i dry out like a sponge under a heat lamp the ground is soak soak soaking with my sweat and my spit and my tears as my body fights an endless and tireless battle against my mind and my thoughts that are now scream scream screaming for release from the hell that is my mind. i know how to let them out. its so easy. all it takes is a few swipe swipe swiping motions against my body and the release will follow the pain will end my soul will be leak leak leaking from my body out into the universe where they'll be free from the neverending torment and destruction of the person that is me.
