suffocating love
Suffocating. It's suffocating that I have to love you. The heavy feeling of heat in my chest that strangles me..makes it hard to breathe. When I inhale, it's the scent of you. The memories of you. It chokes me, grabs me by the neck and holds me hostage until I squirm, shake, plead and eventually give in. Suffocation. The act in which your love has taken over my weak body. My heart has stopped beating for me, it now beats for you. My mind doesn't think for itself but instead thinks about you, for you, for you only. My lungs are filled with the air that you breathe, my whole being now becoming yours. suffocated. Suffocated by a love that consumes, every thought and breath entwined with you. A fusion of souls, entangled and bound, my existence in your orbit, forever found. In this grasp, a paradox unfolds, where liberation resides, within love's hold. Through surrender, I find a strength anew, a suffocation embraced, as I drown in you.
