Suffering
In shadows deep where whispers dwell, Death walks softly, casting its spell. A silent thief in the night’s embrace, It steals away each fleeting grace. Pain, a specter, sharp and keen, Lingers close, a haunting sheen. It carves its mark on flesh and soul, A reminder of what once was whole. Yet in the dark, a flicker glows, Hope, like a river, gently flows. For in the struggle, life finds a way, Transforming night into dawn’s soft play. Together, they dance a bittersweet song, In loss and longing, we learn to be strong. Embracing the shadows, we forge our light, In the depths of sorrow, we find our flight.
