Suddenly a stranger
It's the way you'd look at me and smile at me Made me feel like we were meant to be It's the way you held me close Like I was yours, from that day when we spoke But it's how you didn't care what anyone thought Spending time walking with you was infact my favourite sport Guess that won't be happening anymore Man .. now I know it was really my loss Guess the consequences of my actions cost a lot It's like a sentence a kindergartener would think ended with a "dot" In my heart you left a spot One filled with love and regret From the pain I caused you, that I'll never forget I remember Way before December You'd wave at me with so much joy Now I feel like I just made you a toy Would apologizing fix anything like " sorry", No . I may have been too slow And now I know My own problems and insecurities give me anger Because now everytime I see you, I'm nothing more than a stranger.
