Study my face
Study my face, Look, more close. watch me smile, what do you see? bliss?grimace? I wanted to be your peace, make you see heaven. but all that I could be, was nothing, but chaos. I wanted to be part of your world, pillar, for support, but all I could do was vandalize what you had built. I wanted to be your Christ, to keep, the wind, calm. to stop, the storm, but all I could do was be the wind to escalate the storm. I wanted to be your poet, to heal, your soul, to paint, your sky, beautiful, but all I could do was hurt you, even more. I teared myself apart, for I wanted to see many sunsets with your beautiful face laid on my chest. but all I could do was leave a welt drawn on your cheek. Study my face, That was not what I meant to be, nor what I meant to do. I wish you could see, you did it yourself.
