Stray
When the wind pulls at my coat, all that crosses a dogs mind, is the thought that maybe, in another unverse, I wouldn't be locked up in the cold, stares reflecting onto my fur, but never daring to draw near, they watch me suffer, they watch me whine, I shiver and cry, yet you all still stare, unmoving, as my eyes become laced with hatred, envy being left uncovered, unbenounced to the public eye, I don't long for rengance, only for love, yet no one would ever know, because all I am is a dumb dog, and no one wants a stray
