stranger's with memories
In the realm of unrequited love, my heart finds solace, A stranger's presence, a connection I can't erase. Though she chose another, her love she confessed, Yet to her true love, she decided to invest. Her choice left me torn, emotions running deep, But in her absence, a void I cannot keep. For if we never crossed paths, I know it to be true, Something in my soul would feel incomplete without you. Though I long to share my love, I must understand, Her thoughts lie with another, in another's hand. So I write my messages, pouring out my heart, Then delete them, knowing it's a brand new start. For in this journey of love, sometimes we must let go, And find strength in ourselves, to continue to grow. Hold onto the memories, cherish what we had, But also find the courage to move on, and be glad.
