Strangers Sharing Secrets
My mind is troubled by this emptiness you left. Such desolation my bereaved mind fills only with blind hatred. You were an epitome of bliss; idyllic and real yet delicate as porcelain, shattering all optimism with a fraudulent, "Goodbye". The lonliness morphing into faceless bodies that come and go, none with a smile like yours. But i'll keep searching, stubborn in the remnants of a bitter sweet past I refuse to forget. Will you remember how it felt to hold me? To touch me? To press your lips against mine? I wonder if the thought of me ever crosses your mind, or if you praise yourself for leaving me dejected in my fragility. Will you impersonate my absence with another, a faceless body with a smile like mine; until we become nothing more than strangers sharing secrets.
