I wanna make you more than just the part of my storybook Where I'm the director and you're my hero We face numerous challenges together Till this turns into an adventure full of love Hiking, sharing contacts and taking selfies Making new while keeping old memories In the end I'm blessed with a friend like you Kind, supportive and one who respects personal space At our own pace We'll eventually confess Our interests at best Where you propose to me And I obviously say yes But before I do though I cover my mouth with my hand Right in front of you where you stand As you take out the ring and gently kneel I nod my head seeing it and extend my hand Our hearts swell with joy as the rings are slid onto our fingers Our smiles and laughs forever lingers
