Storm Within
Racing heart, pounding in my chest Breathless, suffocating, no rest Fear grips tight, like a vice so cold My mind's a maze, lost and old Thoughts swirl, a chaotic storm Dizziness waves, I'm lost in form Terror seizes, won't let go A prisoner of panic's dark show World narrows, tunnel vision's grasp Sounds muffle, a distant past Logic flees, replaced by dread Trapped in this nightmare, in my head But then I breathe, slow and deep Remind myself, "I'll survive, I'll keep" Grounding techniques, a gentle hand Reassuring whispers, "You're safe, you're grand" The storm subsides, the sun appears Calmness creeps, through joyous tears Strength returns, with every beat I rise above, my panic's defeat ..............🫠
