Stones
Deep in the woods of some forgotten continent are three stones, they're not jagged though not smooth. Carvings adorn their surfaces, stories of heroes brave, cunning, charming, and human. Stories of love lost, found, rejected and reciprocated. Warnings of the greatest failures and most painful defeats haunt their surfaces. Near the bottom, where the moss and grassy floor grip the stones, on each is a single phrase. "This is your tale hero, destiny decides your course, you decide your ending."
